About The Project

In 2009 Mike brought his film, A Ride to the Morgue to the local cable company in Rochester, NY. It landed on the desk of filmmaker Ben Gonyo, who worked at the station as a TV producer. Ben immediately recognized the raw artistic vision and entertainment value.

Ben met with Mike, Lou and Laurence where he witnessed their drive, determination and unique approach to filmmaking.  For the next two years and with the help of his friend Chris Reeg, Ben followed the trio documenting their work and their zany antics.

The New Blood is now a feature documentary film and a web series. A short version of the film (35 min) will eventually air on Documentary Channel. This site will continue to support the work of this unique and hilarious trio as they continue to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Your store purchases, links and web traffic are greatly appreciated.
